Kaitlyn Deann, a passionate writer since childhood, penned four novels from ages 11 to 16, and considers them crucial to her journey as a writer. THE WITCHES’ SLEEP, her debut which was published when she was 17, won the 2013 Readers’ Favorite Annual Book Contest gold medal in the Fiction – Paranormal genre. Her series, previously The Chronicles of Forgotten Countrymen, is now rebranded as THE FORGOTTEN COUNTRYMEN, with the latest book, UNRAVEL, available. It’s a dystopian fantasy involving secret love, societal oppression, and shocking truths.

As a writer, Kaitlyn hopes to keep readers turning pages late into the night and give them something to think about long after they finish the last page. She loves her friends, family, and God. Laughing is her favorite calorie burner. She lives in Texas with the people that matter most to her in the entire universe.
