Kaitlyn Deann, a passionate writer since childhood, penned four novels from ages 11 to 16, and considers them crucial to her journey as a writer. THE WITCHES’ SLEEP, her debut which was published when she was 17, won the 2013 Readers’ Favorite Annual Book Contest gold medal in the Fiction – Paranormal genre. Her series, previously The Chronicles of Forgotten Countrymen, is now rebranded as THE FORGOTTEN COUNTRYMEN, with the latest book, UNRAVEL, available. It’s a dystopian fantasy involving secret love, societal oppression, and shocking truths.

As a writer, Kaitlyn hopes to keep a reader turning pages late into the night and give them something to think about long after they finish the last page. She loves her friends, family, and God.
